How to Use the Chat Box?

The chat box in OnlyPrompts is a powerful feature that allows users to run prompts on actual AI models and refine the results as needed.

How to Access?

You can access the chat panel in two ways: from the main dashboard or the prompt playground.

To access it from the main dashboard, log in to your OnlyPrompts account and click the Chat Box button at the bottom right of the screen. This will open the chat panel, enabling you to start interacting with the AI models.Alternatively, choose a task in the main dashboard. You will find a Use in Chat button in each prompt box in the prompt playground. Clicking on that will also launch the chat panel, running that specific prompt immediately.

What Can You Do in Chat Box?

1. Interact with AI Models

In the chat panel, you can interact with various AI models, including GPT, Claude, DALL-E, etc. To switch between AI models, use the small dropdown button at the top right of the chat bar.

The AI model will process your inputs, whether you paste the prompt straight into the chatbox or click on Use in Chat, and generate responses in the chat panel.

If the initial response is not satisfactory, you can do one of the following:

• Provide feedback to the AI model with follow-up messages in your own words to refine the results further.

• Edit your messages to add more context or information you haven’t thought of at first

• Edit AI responses and set up new context for the next messages in one chat.

• Regenerate AI messages using another AI model.

• Select the Improve button to access output-enhancing options and quick requests, including summarizing, giving a list of questions, making it longer, shorter, simpler, and thinking again.

2. Optimize Your Own Prompts

You can input a lazy prompt and use the Prompt Optimizer feature to optimize and convert it into a more complete and higher-quality prompt. This is extremely helpful if your desired demands are either too specific or not yet available on our platforms.

3. Upload Files to the Chat

Streamline your workflow further by uploading files directly into your chat session. Whether it’s for prompt optimization or generating AI outputs, file uploads make everything easier to manage—all in one place.

• Click the Attach file button to upload files from your local device or linked Google Drive.

• Supported file types: Images, PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.

• You can connect multiple Google accounts and manage them effortlessly.

• Upload up to 10 files per message.

Note: Files are only used within the context of the specific message and are not stored or remembered beyond it.

This feature saves you time and keeps everything in one place, cutting down the hassle of switching between tools.

4. Enhance Your Chats with AI Plugins

To improve your chat experience, you can add plugins like Google Search, Wikipedia, YouTube Search, and more. Simply find them under the Tools button in your chat.

Note: You can activate up to 8 plugins at a time for any conversation.

With these plugins, you can access real-time information, enhance your AI outputs, and make your chats smarter and faster.

5. Create Audio with Text-to-Speech

Bring your prompts to life with the Text-to-Speech feature! 

By clicking the Text to Speech button, you can select one of three distinct voices: Alloy, Echo, or Fable. Each voice offers a unique style, and using this feature costs 1 credit per use. 

After entering your prompt, a link to the audio file will appear at the end of OnlyPrompts' response, allowing you to download it for future use. 

This feature is perfect for creating dynamic, reusable audio outputs effortlessly.
